The company

20 years already

Founded in 2006, Vente-Unique.com is a European specialist in online furniture sales. The Company developed rapidly in France, then in Europe, thanks to a customer promise based on three interrelated strategies:

  • A quality offering, illustrated by a large selection of own-products and regular new additions covering all furniture styles (design, ethnic, rustic, Scandinavian, vintage, etc.);
  • Competitive prices, aiming at significantly lower prices for comparable offers of the same quality;
  • A comprehensive service in order to constantly improve the customer experience (optimized search engine, 100% online purchasing, stock availability, rapid delivery, call center, etc.).

The Company now operates in 16 countries (France, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Spain, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Switzerland, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, the UK and Ireland) and has delivered to more than 3 million customers since its launch.

Vente-unique is entering a new phase of its history.
After nearly twenty years of building a profitable and disciplined e-commerce model, the Group is transforming itself into an integrated European Home & Living platform. This evolution is built on four complementary drivers: the strength of the Vente-unique brand, the premium positioning carried by Habitat, now a wholly-owned premium brand of the Group, the acceleration of a selective and high-contribution marketplace, and the scaling of a proprietary logistics infrastructure that has become both a growth and monetisation lever. In 2024-2025, this strategy translated into record revenue of €200.9 million, gross merchandise volume of €275.8 million, a gross margin of 58.8%, adjusted EBITDA of €21.0 million and record gross cash of €32.1 million.

The acquisition of the Habitat brands marks a structuring milestone in this transformation.
With the buyout of the Habitat brands from CAFOM Group for €11 million announced in March 2026, Vente-unique secures its premiumisation lever for the long term and adds a brand asset with strong European deployment potential. This transaction puts an end to the perception of Habitat as a mere license and establishes the brand as a strategic pillar of the Group: upscaling of the mix, higher basket values, license development, geographic expansion and reinforced overall desirability of the offering.

Our ambition is clear: to build one of the most profitable and differentiated European leaders in Home & Living.
Already predominantly international in revenue, the Group combines a proven e-commerce platform, an iconic premium brand now fully owned, a contributive marketplace and an internalised logistics arm capable of supporting the expansion of both own sales and fulfilment. Together, these elements build a stronger model, able to sustain our growth over the long term.
